Alton Baptist Church
Virginia was the second child born of seven to her special parents Douglas and Waunita (Farris) Little.† She was born on January 1, 1948, in Cambridge, Kings County. She married Marvin DeAdder, the love of her life, on November 29, 1969. They were blessed with two children, Karla (Jacquard) and M. Lee DeAdder (Theresa), two beautiful granddaughters, Madison DeAdder and Taylor Jacquard, and a handsome grandson, Camrin DeAdder.
After retiring from MT&T and grieving the loss of a brother, Pastor Virginia came to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and was born again. Jesus became Lord of her life and she felt Godís leading to enter deeper into His ministry. So, with approval from her husband and their home church (Cambridge Baptist), she was interviewed and accepted at Acadia Divinity College in Wolfville, NS. With the support of the Holy Spirit, family, home church and Christian friends, she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Theology. She served at Mount Denson Baptist for 6 Ĺ years. Over the years, even through trials in life, she has felt Jesusí divine love and peace and thanks God for the experiences He has given her to be able to help others. Praise the Lord for His unconditional love and amazing grace for all (John 3:16).
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Philippians 4:13
Presenting, Trusting, Serving Christ our King
Corporately as a church, and individually as Godís children, we strive to present the unconditional love and saving grace of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, through repentance (being sorry for sins) leading to forgiveness, trust, and commitment in Almighty God. Our churches provide different ministries for all ages to equip each to learn more of our Lord and to grow in Him through His Holy Word.
We strive to create an atmosphere where people of all ages feel they belong, are valued, respected, and important to the fellowship of Godís family. We encourage members of all ages to exercise their Spiritual Gifts to Godís glory.
